The beautiful French export, Marion Cotillard, is the face of Lady Dior’s ad campaign this season. The campaign was shot by renowned fashion photographer, Steven Klein, in a Los Angeles residence designed by architect John Lautner.

For the fall 2012 campaign featuring their ultra-feminine handbags, Dior went all out.  Hired a stunning actress, created a dazzling print ad campaign, and produced a fabulous film directed by Cameron Mitchell featuring the Marion Cotillard–”L.A.dy Dior”.

In “L.A.dy Dior”, Cotillard is the tortured muse of a brigade of stylists, make-up artists, photographers, and agents, all drafted to produce a photoshoot for the iconic Lady Dior Bag. The delicate, ladylike tote finds personification in Cotillard, until the icon is pushed to the edge.

Video: Dior’s Cruise 2012 fashion film by Ellen von Unwerth, “I found my love in Portofino”

This will inspire and romanticize your day regardless of your mood.  A few weeks ago, Dior created a film titled “I found my love in Portofino”  starring the gorgeous models Jac Jagaclak and Antonio Navas and featuring the Dior Cruise 2012 collection.   Brilliantly directed by fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth and styled by Cathy Kasterine and Benjamin Canares, ”I found my love in Portofino”  is a gracious fashion film that tells the story of a girl’s romantic encounter which turns into an enchanted love.

Now, if that doesn’t get you all mushy inside, I don’t know what would!

Here is the complete film.  It’s only 8:27 minutes long and worth every second.  Beautiful clothes, gorgeous people, and a nostaligic tune by the lovely Dalida–what more can you can ask for?  Well, besides actually being in Portofino this exact moment.

The World’s Oldest Levi’s Jeans

Would you love to live as long as these jeans?! Talk about the idea of brands maintaining relevance.  These old pair of Levi’s has been around since 1869 and are in great condition.  Forget botox!  I want whatever those denim fibers are made up of.

The Levi’s XX were taken for a ride around the globe–like Magellan did, but instead they were guided by Levi’s personal historian, Lynn Downey.  They recently landed at Levi’s Shibuya store in Tokyo.  It was greeted with more flashes than if Lady Gaga were to show up in human clothes at a red carpet event.

These Levi’s came equipped with its personal bodyguard and celebrated at one of the most fashionable events in town.

RACHEL RACHEL ROY released an amazingly artistic fashion film featuring their Fall 2011 collection. The film is titled Beautiful. Imperfect. Life. and was directed by Cameron Duddy who recently directed the videos for the songs “The Lazy Song” and “The Other Side” by Bruno Mars.

The film presents a group of friends enjoying their time by a campfire in the middle of the woods.
