We can all agree that the year was packed with fashion faux pas and quite amusing looks (remember Lady Gaga in the egg at the GRAMMYS, or Katy Perry’s Judy Jetson doo?). However, the beautifully dressed women of the year sometimes tend to go unnoticed because of the shock absorbed from siting the unkempt.

With that in mind, we decided to highlight the 10 best dressed celebrities of 2011, rather than worst. We scanned the web, asked around, and finally decided that when searching for a list like this…we might as well go to the bible of fashioning opinions–VOGUE.

A few surprises and a few ladies that slid in as a result of a last minute film debut, but all are fashionably fabulous.  Let us know if you think someone was left out, or…if someone on the list doesn’t quite deserve it.  As always, we love to here your opinions.

The Most Stylish Music Videos of 2011

2011 was met with a bevy of fashion-friendly music videos.  From Duran Duran‘s video loaded with supermodels from the ’90′s to Lady Gaga’s infused artistic collaborations.

We’ve picked our top 5 videos of 2011 based on their stylish/fashionable appeal.  That means we not only looked at clothing, but also make-up, setting, and overall styling of the video.

This list was quite difficult to put together.  Many videos were not only very stylish because of the fashions and overall styling/directing of the video, but also controversial.  For example, MONSTER by Kanye West almost made it on the list, but we felt the controversy (violence towards women, deadly models) behind it took away from the fashionable appeal and leaned more towards subjective art.

The top 5 video you find below are unquestionably some of the most stylish videos of 2011.  Let us know if you think we may have bumped someone you think should’ve definitely made it and if you agree/disagree with our list!

Since its inception in 1994, the MTV EMAs have established a reputation as one of the most sensational music award shows in the world. Ground-breaking multi-platform viewing options combined with dazzling performances from A-list stars makes for an electrifying atmosphere where anything can happen. Past performers have included global superstars U2, Coldplay, Green Day, Rihanna, Beyonce, Shakira, Jay-Z, Madonna, Prince, Bon Jovi, Take That and many, many more.

This year’s MTV EMAs 2011 took place in Belfast live from the Odyssey Arena and it was as spectacular an event as it had promised. With the show broadcasting across MTV channels around the world there was bound to be  a few iconic moments captured on photograph.

The World’s Oldest Levi’s Jeans

Would you love to live as long as these jeans?! Talk about the idea of brands maintaining relevance.  These old pair of Levi’s has been around since 1869 and are in great condition.  Forget botox!  I want whatever those denim fibers are made up of.

The Levi’s XX were taken for a ride around the globe–like Magellan did, but instead they were guided by Levi’s personal historian, Lynn Downey.  They recently landed at Levi’s Shibuya store in Tokyo.  It was greeted with more flashes than if Lady Gaga were to show up in human clothes at a red carpet event.

These Levi’s came equipped with its personal bodyguard and celebrated at one of the most fashionable events in town.
